PSG reject Liverpool's €100m offer for Barcola as they demand €150m-plus

0
Liverpool have made their first move for Bradley Barcola, but Paris Saint-Germain have quickly pushed back. The Premier League club's initial verbal offer, believed to be around €100m, was rejected by the Ligue 1 champions. PSG value the 23-year-old winger well above that figure, with reports putting their demands at more than €150m including add-ons. The gap between the two sides remains wide, but negotiations have not broken down. Liverpool are thought to believe a compromise can still be reached before the summer transfer window closes. Barcola's agent, Moussa Sissoko, is working to find common ground. He has a history of getting difficult deals over the line, often waiting for the final stretch of the window. There is also a structural link between the clubs: Arctos holds a minority stake in both Liverpool and PSG, which could help keep the dialogue productive. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi could also hold direct talks with Liverpool's leadership and owners in the coming days. Barcola, meanwhile, has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool and is keen to move to the Premier League this summer.
