Everton complete signing of Kristian Nergor

Everton have completed the signing of Kristian Nergor from Arsenal, with the Danish midfielder putting pen to paper on a contract that runs until 2028. The 32-year-old joined Arsenal last summer, arriving from Brentford for €11m, but his first season did not go to plan. Nergor made just 20 appearances and failed to register a single goal or assist, leaving the Gunners convinced that a fresh start was the best option for all parties. Talks with Everton followed, and the Toffees' €8.2m offer was enough to reach an agreement. Everton have now secured the midfielder on a deal through 2028.
