West Ham and Tottenham Put Solomon Deal on Hold Over Financial Gap

0
West Ham and Tottenham have stalled in their talks over Manor Solomon, with the two sides unable to agree on the financial structure of a deal for the 27-year-old winger. The Hammers, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, are prepared to pay around £5 million for Solomon. However, they are resisting the bonus clauses Tottenham want included should West Ham earn promotion back to the top flight. Fiorentina remain interested and are still working on a deal of their own, but their current offer also falls short of what Spurs want financially. Solomon joined Tottenham as a free agent in the summer of 2023. Before that, he spent time at Fulham on loan from Shakhtar. In the 2025-26 season, the Ukrainian winger started on loan at Villarreal before moving to Fiorentina for the second half of the campaign. He finished with 30 appearances, three goals and six assists across all competitions.
