Rulli set for Manchester City return after Marseille deal

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Marseille over the transfer of Gerónimo Rulli, according to Fabrizio Romano. The clubs have finalized the deal, and the 34-year-old Argentine is expected to travel to England for a medical. Rulli will sign a two-year contract that runs through the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for another season until June 2029. The goalkeeper is set to serve as backup to Gianluigi Donnarumma after James Trafford moved to Leeds. This is Rulli's second attempt to establish himself at Manchester City. City originally bought him in 2016 and immediately sent him on loan to Real Sociedad, but he never made an official appearance and eventually left on a permanent deal.
