Bruno Guimarães trains with Arsenal as £75m move nears completion

Bruno Guimarães has effectively joined Arsenal, with the Brazil midfielder taking part in his first training session alongside his new teammates. The club is yet to make the move official while the final paperwork is being completed. Arsenal have agreed a £75 million deal with Newcastle for Guimarães. The 28-year-old is expected to become one of Mikel Arteta's key additions ahead of the new season. Guimarães has been at Newcastle since January 2022, when he joined from Lyon. During that time, he became the club's captain, a driving force in midfield and a key player for Brazil's national team. An official announcement is expected once both clubs finish the remaining formalities.
