Barcelona ready to part ways with two midfielders this summer

Casado, a 22-year-old Spaniard, will not travel with the squad for preseason matches - a clear sign that a departure could be near. He made 34 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona last season, though most of them came off the bench, and he recorded just one assist. As for Bardji, the Catalans are also leaning toward moving on from the young midfielder. More changes to the roster could be coming before the window shuts. There have been previous reports that Casado needs regular playing time more than a switch to Manchester City or Chelsea.
