Turkish sports journalist Burhan Can Terzi has been detained in Istanbul for spreading information about Galatasaray's alleged deal with Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich. As journalist Dogan Burak reports, the case was initiated by the Bakerköy prosecutor's office on suspicion of public dissemination of misleading information. Terzi has previously repeatedly claimed that Galatasaray negotiated the transfer of the 23-year-old German. At the same time, the Istanbul club officially denied these reports and emphasized that there is no agreement between the football player and Bayern. #ÖZELHABER Gazeteci Burhan Can Terzi. pic.twitter.com/KrSdSgYaUt — Burak Doğan (@doganburak29) August 10, 2026 Despite this, the journalist refused to withdraw his statements. Terzi insisted on the credibility of his own sources and even stated that he was willing to put his professional reputation on the line for this information. After the journalist's detention, law enforcement officers questioned him about his publications and the circumstances surrounding the appearance of rumors about Musiala's possible transfer. After conducting the necessary procedural actions, Terzi was released.
