Borussia Dortmund are considering a loan move for Nwaneri from Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund are considering signing Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri on loan. Broadcaster journalist Patrick Berger reports this. The Dortmund club is looking for an alternative to Yannis Constantelias and is studying several candidates at once. Nwaneri is one of the players shortlisted by Borussia. The Germans were already interested in the 19-year-old Englishman last summer, but then the clubs failed to reach an agreement. There is also no final decision on a possible move at the moment, as Borussia continue to look at alternative options. In the 2025/26 season, Nwaneri played for Arsenal, and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Marseille. In total, he played 15 games in the Premier League and League 1, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The attacking midfielder's current contract with Arsenal runs until the summer of 2030.
