Hamburg bought Vieira from Arsenal

Midfielder Fabio Vieira has joined Hamburg on a permanent basis from London-based Arsenal. The 26-year-old Portuguese, who played for the German team on loan last season, signed a long-term employment contract with the "dinosaurs". According to the mass media, the amount of the full transfer was 10 million euros. In the last round of the German Bundesliga, Vieira took part in 29 matches for Hamburg, scoring 7 goals and 5 assists. It was previously reported that  Sunderland have overtaken Arsenal in the race for Fofan.
