Fiorentina agreed on the transfer of Pedro Gonçalves

According to insider, Fiorentina reached an agreement with Sporting regarding the transfer of Pedro Gonçalves. It is about renting a football player until the end of the season with the possibility of a subsequent buyout. The Italian club will pay €2.5 million for the loan. At the same time, Fiorentina will have an option to buy out Gonsalves for €22.5 million. It may become mandatory if certain sports conditions are met and the player achieves certain indicators. The transfer negotiations were completed just before the summer transfer window closed. Gonsalves is expected to go through the necessary formalities and officially join Fiorentina in the near future. For the Italian club, this is a serious strengthening of the attacking line. The 28-year-old Portuguese can play both on the wing and in a more central role. During the entire period in Sporting, the player played 239 matches, scored 97 goals and provided 66 assists.
