Juan Mario became an AEK player

Greek AEK announced on its official website the signing of a contract with former Besiktas midfielder Juan Mario. The agreement with the 33-year-old Portuguese is calculated until the summer of 2028. He got to the Greek club for free, as he had previously left Beşiktaş. Last season, Mario, who played for AEK on loan, played 31 matches in which he scored three goals and provided two assists. After two rounds, AEK scored four points and is in fifth place in the Greek championship. In the next round, the team featuring Ukrainian Oleksandr Zubkov will play against Aris on September 5.
