Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk will not be able to help Olympiakos in the matches of the main stage of the Europa League. This was reported by the press service of UEFA.
The 30-year-old Ukrainian was left out of the Greek club's bid, as Olympiakos coach Jose Luis Mendilibar preferred Ayoub El-Kaabi and Armando Gonzalez, as well as Jota Silva, who can play as a center forward.
This season, Yaremchuk did not appear on the field, and earlier there were rumors that the Ukrainian could leave the team this summer.
In the second part of the last campaign, Yaremchuk played 29 matches for Lyon on loan, scoring nine goals and two assists.
