Ours are sensationalists in the Polish Cup!

0
We usually don't write about Polish football in the middle of the week, but this time there are a few topics that we want to discuss sooner. Well, actually, we don't forget about football itself either, especially since on Thursday two postponed matches were played with the participation of the teams that took the first four places last season, think of the four participants of the European Cups from Poland, in which Ukrainian football players play an important role. In addition, cup matches were held, in which our boys also distinguished themselves. Rakuv - Gurnik 1:2 Rakuv, who failed to start the season, announced the name of the new head coach. He became 36-year-old David Shulcek, who after the departure of Marek Papshun, that is, since the beginning of this year, worked in the club as an assistant head coach. The head coaches changed, Shulchek remained and now he himself has grown to this position. Before Rakuw, he worked in the Chozów Movement and Poznań Warta. He played 88 matches in the Polish Ekstraklasa as a head coach, so he has some experience of independent work. The debut was unsuccessful. Even before the break, Rakuv lost to the vice-champion 0:2, without making a single shot on goal, in the second half they scored one goal, but no more. Gurnik's victory was more than deserved, and it seems to Shulchek that, in addition to putting the game on the team, it is also necessary to restore the psychology of the winner. Our central midfielder Rakuva Vladyslav Kochergin started in the starting line-up and spent an hour on the field. Left with a score of 0:2 and without him Rakuv won one ball. Played mediocrely, scoring between 6.4 and 6.8. 38 of 44 passes were accurate, including one that led to a dangerous moment. He has four fumble returns, one tackle and one interception. Our left wing Maksym Khlan played almost the entire match for Gurnik. He was replaced in the 89th minute. He also played average, and there was quite a wide range of ratings - 6.4, 6.6, 7.0. It is a strange thing for him, but Khlan has never scored a goal, although he is usually among the leaders in the number of shots on goal. The accuracy of his passes is also not bad, 79%, but if in his half of the field all 12 passes were accurate, then in someone else's half, every third became inaccurate - 11 out of 17 reached the addressee. He has two key passes, six ball returns, one tackle and one interception, but at the same time Maksym down won only two of seven single combats. Lech - Jagiellonia 2:1 Much more dramatic was the main match of the day, in which Lech pulled out a late victory thanks to a goal from full-back Humna in the 87th minute. He connected to the penalty area for a corner kick... It must be said that Lech had a big advantage in the game and deservedly won. The advantage of the champion was especially huge in the second half, which started with a score of 1:1. The score of shots after the break is 12:2, in the plane 5:0, xG - 1.24 to 0.08. Supporter and captain of Jagiellonia Taras Romanchuk played the entire match and received good grades of 7.1-7.2. He was also distinguished by the accuracy of his passes - 54 out of 62 and good defensive play. 5 tackles, four clearances, as many turnovers, one interception, five tackles won out of eight... Cup matches also took place during the week, but this is an early stage, so it is still too early to seriously think about the favorite in the Cup. Several elite teams were eliminated, but since the draw is blind in Poland, there were pairs consisting entirely of Ekstraklasa teams. It is noteworthy that two elite teams were buried by our players. The central defender of Shlionsk Yehor Matsenko scored the winning goal in the home match against Pogonnia and did it in the 84th minute. A header after a cross from a free kick. And our striker Andriy Remenyuk contributed to, perhaps, the main sensation of this stage. His Avia from Swidnik, who play in the third echelon of Polish football, knocked out Wieczysta Kraków, winning 3-1 at home. With the score 1:1, Andrii put his team ahead in the middle of the second half. Andrii is the leader of the attack of the team, which is in the middle of the table, occupying the eighth place out of 18 teams. He has scored five goals in six starting rounds of the championship. Remenyuk himself, a pupil of the Lviv Carpathians (8 matches in our Premier League), played for Kalush, Rukh when he was still in the First League and Kryvbas (similarly) and played 54 matches, scoring 2 goals in the UPL, as part of Kharkiv. He plays in Svydnik for the third season and averages a goal per match! And the last topic that I would like to dwell on. In Poland, as in most European countries, the transfer window has closed. Let's make some conclusions. Lech Poznań spent the most in the summer — 8.45 million euros. The lion's share of this amount went to buying out the contract of Luis Palma, who spent last season in Poznań, belonging to Celtic - 4.05 million -
