Ukrainian forward Bohdan Vyunnyk officially became a player of Warsaw Legia. The 24-year-old striker moved from Lehia on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season. The terms of the agreement include an option to buy out the player.
Vyunnyk has been playing for Lehia since March 2024. During this time, the Ukrainian played 61 matches as part of the Gdańsk club, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists.
In the current season, the attacker did not appear on the field for Lehia. The football player wanted to change the club, but now he will continue his career in Warsaw. Currently, Lehia, led by Ukrainian coach Vladyslav Lupashko, plays in the First League of Poland.
Previously, Vyunnyk defended the colors of Shakhtar, Mariupol, as well as Swiss Zurich and Grazer. In 2024, he prematurely terminated cooperation with Shakhtar unilaterally, after which the Donetsk club appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Legia is one of the most successful clubs in Poland. The Warsaw team won the national championship 15 times, and according to the results of the last season, took sixth place in the Ekstraklasa.
