Sports director of Girona on the conflict with Tsygankov: My conscience is completely clear

Girona sports director Kike Karsel did not comment in detail on the club's conflict with Viktor Tsygankov, which ended with the departure of the Ukrainian football player. "I will not say anything about Tsygankov. This is the only question I do not want to answer. Let everyone draw their own conclusions, my conscience is completely clear. I immediately decided that I will ignore this question," said Karsel. At the end of August, Tsygankov moved from Girona to Ajax. The amount of the transfer amounted to 5 million euros, taking into account possible bonuses. Before the departure of the Ukrainian, a conflict situation arose. In the first round of Segunda, Tsygankov refused to come on as a substitute, after which, according to media reports, he became a participant in a fight in the locker room. After that, Girona forbade the football player to communicate with the press and opened disciplinary proceedings against him. Tsygankov was not included in the team's application for the match of the second round.
