Manchester United are not ruling out a move for Leicester's 18-year-old talent after failing...

According to sports media sources, Manchester United are continuing their pursuit of 18-year-old Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, despite failing to close a deal on the final day of the transfer window. During the summer, the Mancunians were in active negotiations with Leicester, which reached their peak on deadline day. However, the transfer window closed before the parties could reach a final agreement, and Page remained a player for his current team. Despite this, United retain a serious interest in the England youth international. The club believe they have every chance of winning the race to sign the player, ahead of London's Arsenal. The management of Manchester United is absolutely calm about the situation. According to sources, even if a deal could be completed in the summer, the club still planned to keep Page on loan at Leicester until the end of the current season. Page's move is expected to cost more than £10 million (about $13.5 million). Last season, the young midfielder played 18 matches in the Championship, and after the team's relegation to the third division (First League), he started in the last three matches. Interest in the Leicester player is fully in line with United's current strategy of attracting England's best young talent. As part of that policy, the Mancunians signed Ayden Gaven from Arsenal in 2025 (he has already made 22 Premier League appearances) and this summer bought 18-year-old Tottenham winger Tynan Thompson for a fee that could reach £8m including bonuses.
