Liverpool ranked first among the leading European football clubs in terms of cultural influence. These are the results of an independent international study by Harris & Toluna, conducted in 22 markets. As part of the survey, respondents were asked which organizations have the most influence on culture, including fashion, public debate, digital trends and the content that people view, share and discuss. Liverpool was called culturally influential by 31% of the study participants. This is the highest figure among all football clubs represented in the survey. The nearest European competitor scored 24%. The Merseysiders also topped the overall ranking of sports rights holders for cultural significance. Liverpool got 31%, while the second result was 25%. The influence of the club is also noticeable on the American market. In the US, Liverpool became the most culturally influential European football club with 18%. The second result was 13%.
