Dadashov: I want to bring the experience of playing against players of the highest level to Bukovyna

The newly minted striker of Bukovyna Renat Dadashov commented on his transfer to the Ukrainian club. "At first, an agent called me and said: "Look, there is an option in Ukraine. They are interested in you, what do you think?". He named the club, after which I already started to collect information about Bukovyna. I talked to the representatives of the club and I liked the idea of joining this team. I am very impressed by the vision of football, the game model and the work of the head coach of the Chernivtsi club. I watched a lot of Bukovyna games, preparing for the transfer, and felt really inspired by how much the club wanted me in the team. I was I'm really impressed. And here I am. As I said, I liked the approach of the coaching staff and the attitude of the people at the club. I immediately had the feeling that I should be at this club because they did everything 100 percent to convince me to come here. I was so convinced of my decision that I signed the contract. I am happy to be here, to be a Bukovyna player! The national team and the club are completely different things. Many people think that they are the same thing, but they are not. You represent your country in the national team. And in the club you work every day. I want to be the best version of myself in Bukovina, just as I try to be the best version of myself in the national team. Of course, all the experience I have already gained in the national team, where I played against strong national teams and football players, I can bring to the club. There you learn to stay focused for 90 minutes against top level players. So, from the national team, I want to transfer this experience to the new team and fight on the field for the colors of Bukovyna. Is the goal against the French national team a special moment in your international career? Of course, I remember everything in detail. The fourth minute of the match — and I score for France, making the score 1:0. Emotions and adrenaline went off the scale! But the thought immediately flashed in my head: "Damn it, there are still almost 90 minutes against the French themselves!". For me, all goals are special, but this one is truly unique, because the match was held in Azerbaijan, and it was the first ever goal of our national team against France. It was a wonderful experience, one that I will never forget. To be honest, every goal is important and memorable for me. Because you are killing for your country, where your family comes from. For the country to which you belong, where your roots come from. Although I was born in Germany, I feel like an Azerbaijani. I would definitely call the first goal for the national team the most memorable - against Slovakia. And also a goal against France. These two goals are in my top seven goals for the national team. I hope there will be more to come. Exactly one year ago, Azerbaijan played against the national team of Ukraine. Could I have thought then that in 12 months I would move to Ukraine? Fair? No. But this is exactly why I love football: you never know where you will be tomorrow. This is an amazing coincidence. I perfectly remember that match against the Ukrainian national team, and today I am signing a contract with a club that plays in beautiful yellow colors. And it's actually pretty cool! The German football environment shaped me completely. At the age of 15, I moved to the academy. There you are taught strict discipline and hard work. You combine morning training with studying at school, then you go to training again, and in the evening - again studying. It required a lot of discipline, which greatly shaped me into the footballer I am today. Many matches with Kai Havertz for Germany U-17? Then we were just children and did not know how our careers would turn out. We enjoyed youth football, played in the Euro qualifiers, which took place in Azerbaijan. Kai has always been a great football player - ever since we started playing together. He made and continues to make an incredible career. Kai is a great guy and a top player. I am happy to remember that we shared the same dressing room with him and performed at the same level. Each story, club, has its ups and downs - this is the usual football life. In each country, I gained something new: a new culture, tactical knowledge, experience from different coaches. I don't have a particular favorite period of my career, but I really enjoyed my time in Switzerland, where I could communicate fluently in German, which made it easier for me to adapt. It was also great in Portugal: I came to an unfamiliar country, and within a year and a half I spoke Portuguese fluently. Each period had its good and not so good episodes.
