Como Croatian midfielder Martin Baturina scored the club's first ever Champions League goal, opening the scoring against RB Leipzig.
The 23-year-old Baturina joined the Italian club from Dinamo Zagreb a year ago and quickly became a key figure in the squad - according to Romano, it was a successful signing that proved his value again this summer when the player turned down several transfer offers to stay at Como. A graduate of the Zagreb academy, he made 165 appearances for Dinamo's first team, scoring 22 goals and winning four league titles, two Croatian Cups and two Super Cups, before moving to Italy.
The goal in the Champions League was a historic moment for Como as the club make their debut in the competition this season, having qualified for Europe's highest level for the first time in their history. Comeau is currently up 2-0 at RB Leipzig.
