Real Madrid forward Rodrigo continues his recovery from a serious knee injury and could return to action before the end of 2026. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, December is an optimistic benchmark for the 25-year-old Brazilian. Rodrigo suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament on March 2 during a La Liga match against Getafe. Eight days later, the football player underwent an operation performed by the well-known specialist Manuel Leyes. Initially, it was predicted that the recovery could drag on until the beginning of 2027. However, the rehabilitation is more successful than expected, and Rodrigo has already taken an important step on the way back. Recently, the Brazilian started individual training on the football field for the first time in six months. Currently, he is gradually gaining physical condition, working under the close supervision of the medical staff. Despite the positive dynamics, Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho and club doctors do not plan to force recovery. The Madrid club want to completely eliminate the risk of re-injury and guarantee Rodrigo a full return to activity.
