Hamburg extended the contract with the head coach

Hamburg officially announced the continuation of cooperation with head coach Merlin Poltsin. New long-term contracts were also signed by representatives of his coaching staff. Polcin has been working with Hamburg since December 2024. During this period, the specialist managed to lead the team to the first Bundesliga after several seasons spent outside the elite division. After returning to the top tier of the German championship, Hamburg not only avoided the fight for survival in the final rounds, but also ended the season in 13th position. Thus, the team kept its place among the strongest clubs in the country. The management of Hamburg decided to continue working with Poltzin and his assistants, counting on the further development of the team under their leadership.
