0
The Romans won another victory in the championship, but this meeting certainly cannot be called easy. Venice had a great opportunity to open the scoring in the 17th minute - the hosts were awarded a penalty, but John Yeboa did not beat Christos Mandas.
Lazio gradually seized the initiative, and at the beginning of the second half they still opened the scoring. In the 51st minute, the guests were already scoring a penalty - Mattia Dzaccagni confidently converted the shot and put the Romans ahead.
Venezia tried to fight back, but Lazio took advantage of the space in the opponent's defense. In the 60th minute, Nunu Tavares made a pass for a free kick, and Tijani Noslin outran the defenders and sent the ball into the net with his head - 0:2.
The hosts created several more dangerous chances before the end of the match, but Mandas continued to save his team. In the end, Lazio held the advantage and took three points from Venice.
