In the framework of the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Kyiv Dynamo won an important victory over Luhansk Zorya with a score of 2:0. After the final whistle, the head coach of the white and blue team Ihor Kostiuk shared his impressions of his team's game on UPL TV and told how he managed to break the opponent's resistance. According to the coach, the key factor in the match was the dedication of the football players and the successful decision of the coaching staff in the second half. "It was important for us to win today. Our substitutions worked - they came out, pressed the opponent, scored their own goals. The players gave one hundred percent and won these important three points," Kostiuk emphasized. The coach admitted that the first half of the meeting was not easy for Kyiv. "Zorya defended with a low block and ran sharply into counterattacks, which our defense did not always have time to cope with. However, the adjustments made during the break paid off," the manager added. Separately, Kostyuk singled out Volodymyr Brazhko, whose trademark long shot opened the score in the match after a number of attempts, and the team's rookie Ba. The latter had the whole half at his disposal and noticeably livened up the game ahead. "He is still adapting, but this is a player who makes a difference. He added sharpness to our attack, he could score the ball. We need such players who are not afraid to play one-on-one," said the specialist.
