Luton want to sign Dowman on loan

Arsenal are considering a loan move for Max Douman in the winter transfer window. The 16-year-old has attracted the attention of Luton, who currently play in the third division of English football. Luton is managed by ex-Arsenal player Jack Wilshere. The club's interest may get a practical extension after December 31 - that's when Douman will celebrate his 17th birthday and will have the opportunity to move to another team on loan. According to Mikel Arteta, the decision will take into account Douman's progress, the amount of game time he is getting and the needs of Arsenal's first team.
