Luis de la Fuente extended his contract with the Spanish national team

The Royal Spanish Football Federation officially announced the extension of the contract with Luis de la Fuente. The new contract of the head coach of the national team is calculated until the summer of 2032. De la Fuente took charge of the Spanish national team in December 2022. During this time, the team under his leadership won the League of Nations, the 2024 European Championship and the 2026 World Cup. Since the appointment, the Spaniards have played 49 matches. Their team won 39 times, drew seven times and suffered only three defeats. Before working with the main team, de la Fuente led the youth and youth teams of Spain, as well as the Olympic team. Under his leadership, the U-19s and U-21s won the European Championships, while the Olympic team won silver medals at the Games. Now the Spanish specialist will continue working with the national team at least until the summer of 2032.
