Wagner headed Hannover

Sandro Wagner became the new head coach of Hannover. The 38-year-old German specialist signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2028. At the club level, the specialist already has experience of independent work. Wagner led Untergaching, with which he managed to win the regional league and lead the team to the third German league. This result became one of the most notable achievements of the coach at the start of his independent career. Wagner's last place of work was Augsburg. The specialist worked with the club until December 2025, after which he left the team. Now he returns to club work and will lead Hannover.
