Dovbyk returned to training in the general group of Bologna

Bologna forward Artem Dovbyk returned to work in the team's general group. The Ukrainian has already taken part in training together with other football players of the club. Before the class, the 29-year-old attacker passed a series of individual tests aimed at assessing his physical condition. After that, Dovbyk performed technical and tactical exercises, and also played in a training match on a small field. Due to the injury, the Ukrainian missed Bologna's last two matches in Serie A — against Napoli and Torino. Before getting injured, Dovbyk managed to score goals in three of the matches he played in the Italian championship. Due to the injury, the striker was also unable to join the Ukrainian national team for the upcoming 2026/27 Nations League matches. Polissia forward Ihor Krasnopir was called up to Andrea Maldera's team instead of Dovbyk. After the international break, Bologna will play away against Lecce. The match is scheduled for October 11 and will start at 16:00. After five rounds of Serie A, Bologna has just two points and is 18th in the standings.
