Totti explained why he turned down Como at the age of 48

Former Italian Roma striker Francesco Totti has considered a return to professional football. The legendary Italian spoke about this in his new autobiographical book "Oltre". "When I was 48 years old, I turned down Genoa and Como. My body was ready to return, but one question had to be answered: 'Am I ready to play against Roma?' The answer inside me was obvious, so I refused," Totti wrote. Totti spent his entire professional career with Roma, representing the Romans from 1993 to 2017. During this time, he took part in 785 matches, scoring 307 goals and 205 assists.
