Arteta will extend his contract with Arsenal on improved terms

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has reached a final agreement to extend his contract with the club. Negotiations on a new labor contract continued for several months. The term of the future agreement has not yet been officially disclosed, but it will allow the Spaniard to lead the team for at least ten years. Arteta took charge of the Gunners in December 2019. It is noted that the new contract provides for a significant increase in the specialist's salary. The Spaniard currently earns £10m (€11.7m) a year, plus £5m (€5.83m) in bonuses. Last season, under Arteta, Arsenal won the English Championship gold medals for the first time in 22 years. It was previously reported that Arsenal are ready to sign Endrik as early as January.
