Kobin is officially appointed as the senior coach of the U-17 Movement

Vasyl Kobin officially became the senior coach of the Lviv U-17 youth team. Serhii Khizhii and Dmytro Khomchenovbroadcasteri were appointed assistants to the new coach. The coaches have already made the first acquaintance with their wards - the graduating team of the Academy of the Lviv club, which consists of football players born in 2010. This age category already has serious achievements, having twice become the champion of Ukraine in the Pro-League. Kobin's last place of work was Ingulets. He headed the club from Petrovy in June 2024, but left his post in September 2026. Oleksandr Povorozniuk, the president of Ingulets, commented on the break in cooperation, saying that the coach had already exhausted himself in Ingulets. Before working with the team from Kirovohrad Oblast, Vasyl Kobin had the experience of managing Transcarpathian Minay. He led the club in two stages: from June 2019 to March 2021, and later returned to the team from June to September 2021. It is with Minaj that Kobin's highest coaching achievements are connected. In the 2019/2020 season, he won gold medals of the First League and led the Zakarpattia club to the Ukrainian Premier League for the first time in history. In the same season, under his leadership, the team sensationally reached the semifinals of the Cup of Ukraine. Also in Kobin's career was a period of work as sports director of Kharkiv Metalist (2022).
