Oleksandr Drambaev became one of five football players who received a debut call-up to the national team of Ukraine. Also, the defender of Cherkasy LNZ became the first player in the history of his club to be called up to the main team of the country. In an interview for the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association, the football player commented on this landmark event and talked about his first days in the team's location. Drambaev admitted that at first he did not believe in his challenge. He said that when he heard the news from the head coach, he had no emotion and could not understand what was happening. However, the management and coaching staff of the Cherkasy club were very happy for him and supported him in every way. "Everyone warmly congratulated: both the president and the coach. Everyone congratulated, said let's keep it up. The main thing is that it was not the first and not the last," the defender said. Drambaev got to the national team camp together with Shakhtar Donetsk football players, with whom LNZ played just the day before in the UPL. According to the player, on the way they hardly discussed the affairs of the national team, but the defender of the miners Mykola Matvienko asked what song the rookie would choose for the traditional song dedication. Drambaev replied that he had not yet decided on the choice of song. In September and October, the national team of Ukraine will play four matches.
