However, the striker failed to get enough playing time in the Bundesliga, which saw him leave for Strasbourg on loan with no option to buy this summer. Chelsea's interest is also explained by the connections between the clubs. At the start of the season, the Dane has already scored one goal in three League 1 matches, although he started all these matches on the bench. In total, Garder spent only 72 minutes on the field.
