Roma raised the price for Kone to €100 million

Roma has raised the asking price for Manu Kone for interested clubs to €100 million, Corriere dello Sport reports. The 25-year-old midfielder was recently valued at around €50m by the Roma, but that has changed following his progress under Gian Piero Gasperini. Kone became one of Roma's key players at the start of the season. The Frenchman changed his role on the field and began to connect to attacks more often, which has already brought results. In particular, he scored a double in the match against Inter. Kone's strong performances have attracted the attention of several European clubs. Chelsea came close to signing him in the summer, but Roma ultimately backed out of the sale. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Londoners were ready to offer about €60 million.
