Alex Scott Keen on Chelsea Move as Blues Prepare for Summer Activity

0
Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has made it clear he wants to join Chelsea this summer, despite the Cherries rejecting an opening offer from the London club. Chelsea tabled a €64 million bid for the 22-year-old, but Bournemouth turned it down, insisting they have no intention of selling. However, Scott is pushing for a move and has already turned down multiple contract offers from his current club. Bournemouth are now prepared to enter the new season with Scott on his existing terms rather than lose him cheaply. Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to offload defender Axel Disasi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham. The Blues want more than €30 million for the 28-year-old, but that asking price could be a stumbling block. Both AS Roma and AC Milan have made inquiries, though neither is likely to meet Chelsea’s valuation. Up front, Marc Guiu is expected to leave Stamford Bridge after struggling for minutes since his 2024 move from Barcelona. Coventry City and several Spanish clubs have shown interest. Chelsea may demand up to €30 million for the striker, who has fallen down the pecking order following the return of Nicolas Jackson and the signing of Emmanuel Emegha. With no place in Xabi Alonso’s plans, Guiu’s departure — either permanent or on loan — looks imminent. There is no such uncertainty surrounding Cole Palmer. Chelsea have made it clear to the England international that he remains a key part of the club’s long-term project. Despite the arrival of his close friend and fellow attacking midfielder, Palmer’s role is not under threat — his teammate prefers the left flank, while Palmer operates on the right.
