Why Arsenal won't sign Vinicius Jr despite Real Madrid transfer twist

But a closer look at the numbers makes it abundantly clear why this deal is a non-starter. Contract renewal talks between Vinicius and Real Madrid have been at a standstill for months. With only one year left on his current deal, the possibility of the 26-year-old leaving the Bernabeu is real. The situation has been further fueled by Real Madrid's sudden interest in RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande, leading some to connect the dots. However, conflicting reports from Spain muddy the waters.
