Manchester United Set Sights on Eduardo Camavinga as Cheaper Alternative to Tchouameni

Manchester United have turned their attention to Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with the club considering the Frenchman as a more affordable alternative to teammate Aurélien Tchouameni, according to sources. The media reports that United are looking to add a third midfielder to their ranks this summer, having already secured deals for Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos. While Tchouameni remains a primary target for Michael Carrick's side, his price tag-reportedly around €80 million (£70m)-may prove prohibitive. Camavinga, 23, is believed to be valued between €50m and €60m (£46.7m-£58.4m) by the La Liga champions, making him a more viable option. However, Spanish sources suggest both Camavinga and Tchouameni would prefer to stay at the Bernabéu this summer. Interest is not limited to United. The media indicates Chelsea have also contemplated a move for Camavinga. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are reportedly willing to offload the midfielder should they secure the signing of Manchester City's Rodri.
