Manchester United open talks for Francisco Conceicao as €136m right-wing duo face threat

Manchester United have opened talks with Juventus over a summer move for Francisco Conceicao, with Italian reports claiming the Red Devils have already been in touch about the winger. United have added Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow to Michael Carrick's squad this summer and remain keen to finalise a deal for Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall. According to Italian transfer reporter Nicolo Schira, they have now asked Juventus for information about Conceicao, who could leave Turin on a permanent transfer. The 23-year-old Portugal international has a contract until 2030, but managed only four goals in 42 games last season. He was picked for four of Portugal's five matches at this summer's World Cup, and his 54 completed dribbles in 2025-26 were bettered by only four Serie A players. United had initially targeted the left flank, but a move for Conceicao now appears possible. That raises questions on the right, where Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo already occupy the positions. Together, the pair carry an Estimated Transfer Value of €135.7m. SciSports data ranks Conceicao below both players, with his potential SciSkill rating of 111.4 trailing Amad's 120.2 and Mbeumo's 122.9. Mbeumo is rated as United's best player by SciSports, ahead of Bruno Fernandes, while Amad impressed for Ivory Coast at the World Cup and, at 24, is approaching his prime. That explains why a deal for Conceicao still comes with doubt.
