Fenerbahce Willing to Break the Bank for Rashford After Barcelona Exit Confirmed

Marcus Rashford's future is moving fast. With Barcelona officially out of the picture, Fenerbahce has emerged as a serious suitor, and the Turkish club is reportedly ready to make a major financial push to bring the Manchester United forward to Turkey this summer. According to media, Rashford is on Fenerbahce's three-man transfer shortlist. Head coach Ismail Kartal wants to add firepower in attack, with the 28-year-old joined by Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace) and Rafael Leao (AC Milan) as targets. Fenerbahce has already made contact with Rashford's representatives to test his interest in a move. If the England international gives the green light, the club is said to be ready to "break the bank" to get a deal done. Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona, scoring 14 goals in 49 games. The Catalan club chose not to trigger the €30 million option-to-buy clause in the agreement, so he is set to return to Old Trafford after his World Cup involvement. He will get a chance to impress new Manchester United manager Michael Carrick in preseason, although United is open to sanctioning a sale before the summer window closes if a suitable bid arrives. The striker had initially wanted to stay at Barcelona permanently, but he confirmed on Instagram in late July that he will not be going back to Camp Nou.
