Liverpool ready to hijack Chelsea’s Estevao renewal Liverpool are reportedly hoping to convince Estevao Willian to ditch contract talks at Chelsea after contacting the representatives of the winger. Estevao is thought to be growing frustrated after not being considered a starter under Xabi Alonso so far, while Liverpool are keen to sign a player with his profile after the departure of Mohamed Salah this summer. Despite Estevao being contracted until 2033, Chelsea are hoping to ease Estevao’s tensions by offering him a new deal on improved terms but Football FanCast report that Liverpool are trying to disrupt those talks. Chelsea have no desire to sell Estevao and still see him as an important part of the team, although they cannot guarantee the 19-year-old game time and would only consider his departure for more than €120 million. Ndour linked with Premier League move A number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, are said to be hot on the trail for Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour . Having come through the ranks of Benfica before a spell with Paris Saint-Germain, Ndour has broken into the Italian national team after impressing at Fiorentina. TEAMtalk claim that Liverpool remain interested in Ndour, having held a long-standing interest in the 22-year-old, while Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Hull City all made enquiries about Ndour earlier this summer. There is said to be growing belief among Premier League clubs that Ndour could be available next year and open to a move to England, although PSG retain a 50% sell-on fee for the youngster, which could complicate a sale. Liverpool working on Camara deal Liverpool are working on a deal to sign Lamine Camara after holding talks with the Monaco star’s agent, according to Football Insider. Camara saw a deadline day move to Chelsea collapse and Liverpool are believed to have told the 22-year-old that they will likely move for him next year, having held a long-term interest in the midfielder. Liverpool are assessing a number of options to strengthen in the January transfer window and Camara will likely be available, having seen Chelsea agree to pay around €55m for his services before the deal fell through. The transfer is said to be something that Liverpool have been working on for some time, having conducted background checks and intermediary work to assess his demands and his suitability to their squad. Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool eye Mitchell free transfer Liverpool and Chelsea are among the clubs who have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Crystal Palace star Tyrick Mitchell next summer. Mitchell is in the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park and the 27-year-old is understood to have a number of suitors if he becomes available on a free transfer. Palace are still optimistic they can agree a new contract with their boyhood talent but Football Insider report that Man Utd have identified Mitchell as a ‘leading target’ to strengthen at left-back. However, Liverpool are also in the market for a left-back, while Chelsea will view his potential availability as a market opportunity they hope to take advantage of.
