Transfer Rumors: Tottenham circles Osimhen as Arsenal submits €75m Konsa bid

0
The latest transfer rumor mill is being shaped by two Premier League stories: Tottenham's pursuit of Victor Osimhen and Arsenal's push for Ezri Konsa. Tottenham has made several approaches for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen and is confident about agreeing personal terms with the Nigeria international, according to CaughtOffside. A fee of just over €75m may be enough to secure a deal with Galatasaray. Chelsea has long admired Osimhen, while Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have also been linked, but Tottenham is considered the front-runner. Arsenal has submitted a €75m offer for Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, according to a surprise report from Estadio Deportivo. The England international has become a key center-back target for Mikel Arteta's side. With two years remaining on his contract, Konsa is now the subject of Arsenal's first bid as the London club tries to tempt Unai Emery's team into a sale. Chelsea has reached a full agreement with Rayo Vallecano over Pep Chavarria. The 28-year-old was identified as a priority for new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, and reports say a €25m deal has been finalized after lengthy negotiations. Chavarria is reportedly in London for a medical, with an official announcement expected soon. This will make him Rayo Vallecano's most expensive sale, even though the Spanish club had previously insisted on a €50m release clause. Joao Pedro is set to be rewarded with a new Chelsea contract. The 24-year-old Brazilian signed a seven-year deal at Stamford Bridge last summer, one that runs through 2032, and Chelsea is now in advanced talks over fresh terms. Reports suggest his new contract will run until 2033. Arsenal and Barcelona are both prepared to pay over €100m for Pedro, but Chelsea has no intention of selling. Manchester United is exploring a move for Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to The Independent. Arsenal is reluctant to lose the 19-year-old, but that stance could change if Bruno Guimaraes arrives. Lewis-Skelly, who can play left-back or in midfield, has four years left on his contract, making a deal complicated. Elsewhere, Koln has sent a loan offer to Tottenham for Mikey Moore, Celtic had a €7m bid for Fares Ghedjemis rejected by Frosinone, and Manchester City is weighing a move for Chelsea winger Pedro Neto. Rangers also opened talks with Coventry over Jahnoah Markelo.
